University of California San Francisco Fresno Medical Program
The University of California San Francisco UCSF) is one of the 10 campus of the University of California educational system. It is the only campus to devote solely to health sciences with its Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry and Pharmacy. The UCSF School of Medicine is ranked one of the top in the country. The UCSF Fresno Medical Education Program is a major branch of the University of San Francisco's School of Medicine.UCSF Fresno represents a unique medical education and physician training program by providing medical residency programs in emergency medicine, family practice, general surgery, internal medicine, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics, psychiatry and surgical critical care.
UCSF Fresno also provides several fellowship programs, which involves an additional one to two years training past the medical residency.
At any given time, there are over 180 medical residents participating in their programs.
There are other special opportunities available, including a Model Fresno program, which is available to 3rd year University of California San Francisco students for an intensive six-month period of hands-on clinical training in primary care settings.
This UCSF Fresno Medical Program is an excellent partnership between the university and community because it provides doctors-in-training with the much needed hands-on experience while providing valley residents with the highest of health care services.

UC Center Fresno
The UC Center Fresno was established in 1997 to provide educational access to the UC coursework by internet and videoconferencing technology.
The UC Center offers various programs through partnerships with UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Merced and University of California San Francisco .
